60 shots at 30s, f4, iso 100 stacked in Starstax blended with another shot at f10 to get the right exposure on the horses.

Cracking perspective and nice detail on the stars and Kelpies.

I like the hint of color but also works in black and white.

Was it too cold to take more

Thanks Andy - yes it was rather chilly! To be honest I was (and still am to some extent) really pleased with this one but the reaction on Flickr etc has been relatively muted so I wanted some honest opinions. Possibly not enough stars? Trails too short ?

I feel longer trails would take it up several levels. I do like it though.
