Only visible from southern hemisphere locations this was captured on a holiday to South Africa. Unfortunately it is/was the "rainy" season over there so only got a tiny fraction of the imaging time I wanted to get in...still pleased to have seen it though and get a grab shot. This is a very large object in the sky and only just fits in the FOV of the 135mm lens using a full frame camera. It is also quite bright being rather obvious as a cloudy patch in the sky.
Equipment:
Baader Modified Canon 6D camera
Canon 135mm f/2 L lens
AstroTrac TT320X mount
Image is a stack of 21x 30 second subs at ISO1600 (all that I could manage).
