I love this particular forum, it really is what photography should be all about. For Pleasure. These two were exactly that. I was soooo cold when I took it, I am really looking forward to taking one of the half moon though, that should really throw up some good crater details through the terminator I want to capture the Lunar Montes and also see if I can't grab a pic of Saturn....we'll see!

I have delved into pro-wedding photography and been fairly successful at the low to mid end of that market, these were pictures for pleasure aswell, but the pressure can be a litttle overwhelming. ;-). I am now taking a year out of pro-tography and have some fun without the pressure. Your pics are very inspirational, thanks!

Hi, it was a Meade ETX 125 with a 5D MkII there is no lens as you attach the camera directly to the telescope via a T mount adaptor. As this adaptor allows the use of eye pieces, I was able to slip in a 12 mm eyepiece for the close up shot.
 
Fantastic shot, seriously well impressed with this. What sort of
dough did the telescope and adapter cost ? if you don't mind me asking
