Hi, after much debate the wife and I have booked a week literallly a ten minute from the mumbles mainly because thats where her mum came from. Just wondered if there is any places worth visiting within a short drive. On my list is the Brecon beacons even through this is a fair drive. Thanks for any help

Theres the Mumbles pier, (closed last time I was there) but views from underneath or the sides. The Lighthouse island is worth a look but dont get cutoff by the tide. Oystermouth castle. Not far away the Gower coast, Rhossili, 3 cliffs, penard castle and lots of other beaches and cliff walks.
Then theres a load of good waterfalls near Glyn Neath (not too far) well worth a look.

Thanks Wayne love waterfalls so I know where I will be headed. Thanks for all the info

If you do go to the Beacons the Red Kite feeding station is worth a look in Llanddeusant, Llangadog.
