In the same vein as duffers, this thread is for all the birds that were just too far away. Making a decent pic almost impossible.

I dont know Frank, I think it is really nice. It certainly shows an environment of one lonely bird in an open space. If it was of a bird the size of a Sparrow then it would look totally out of place, so yeh, I like it

Not wellies, but a rear view mirror would give some peace of mind. You know what these farmers are like.

All my shots of the Kestrel are too far away, but I would have loved a nice camera and a quality lens for this shot.
