Hi and welcome to the forums, a nice first post there and potentially a very good shot. You need to crop around an inch from the right hand side of shot, try not to include objects that intrude into the edge of shot.
 
good first effort well done. steves right looks messy with objects entering the capture from the side i would also edit out the light pole to the left if thats what it is.
 
Try it with the right hand cropped but without losing the people/foreground.. They give it some context.

3rd image is an excellent crop.

That's the puppy, good work :)

The other option would have been doing some cloning to remove the offending item.. More work and not sure if it would gain you anything.
