Hope you don't mind, but I had a quick play. I did: Layer from background > Filter > Other > High pass ( Pixel radius 1.0). Overlay. Layer from background > Image > Adjustments > Levels (tweaked a bit in here). Layer > Flatten. brings out more detail in the sharpen, and adds contrast.
