This is a long forgotten Singer sewing machine that I came across in a decaying Irish Farmhouse.

remember my mum having one of those, the top rotated so the sewing machine was stored underneath when not in use, worth a few quid now I would think

I have one very like that minus the treadle part, ie hand operated, which I bought about 40 years ago and did use occasionally. It has a ‘torpedo’ shaped bobbin/shuttle rather than the later circular ones.
