Hi, new to the forum but been a lurker for a loooooong time.

A passionate photographer and artist but I need structure for a bit of progression so I think the 52 challenge could be a great thing to be involved in.

Good on you Scott - if 52. is a struggle, don't forget to look at the monthly DPOTY25 or there will be some other challenge series' coming up run by @Gav.
 
I'm really not sure at the moment. It's been an odd year and certainly not what the challenge was. The loss of Chris early on and the fact that big catch-ups seem to be the norm now rather than as Lindsay says "if it's really necessary." I dunno - will ponder some more.
 
Hey, @Nikon f1.8 Paul, me too but I've gort a bit more of an excuse these ays maybe; but better to start with good intentions and drift off, that not to start at all, I figure.
 
I would like to be included please as I've really enjoyed the interaction with others and the inspiration on the topics and from others' photos.

Having said that, I have fallen behind this year, partly because I've been worried about posting things that aren't up to scratch, so I will make sure I'm keeping up next year!

Thanks to everyone who contributes to keeping it going!
 
Ross, it's a personal challenge, so very much not a case of things being "up to scratch", sometimes it's enough of a challenge just to get something, anything, on theme, and it's ok to use your phone camera if that's the camera you have when you see the right subject.

Toying with the notion of this again. I’ve got reservations because from past experiences I know even if I keep up with the photography side I struggle keeping up with replying to comments and commenting on others images (doesn’t help I’m not naturally very social).

Please count me in again, although I have failed very badly this year with taking the pictures (distracted with one thing or another).

Currently starting a large catch up of I think 16 weeks!!!

Must do better!
