Took a trip down to Strumpshaw Fen yesterday in search of the bittern and kingfisher that madmitch got such good pics of. Missed the kingfisher twice tho:shake:
Wrong hide, wrong time. Beautiul place tho and I'll definintely be going back.

I did get a shot of a Dragonfly which I was pleasd with, let me know what you think

It was good to finally meet someone from TP

I went back for a couple of hours to reception hide and the Kingfisher turned up and gave a great display, will post a few later.

I had a feeling it would and nearly came back after lunch, but we were due at friends so ran out of time.

Went back to Strumpshaw again today, saw the Kingfisher this time but hadn't got the camera set up before he took flight. Third time lucky I hope

Did get these tho C&C welcome, the Coot has been sharpened and cropped the Egyptian Goose just cropped.
