Thomason Falls

From a recent trip to the Yorkshire moors, decided to take in some of the awesome falls around Goathland.
Sadly, Mallyan spout was rained off with a torrential shower so we went walking down to Beck Hole and along to Thomason Falls.
By the time the wife and I reached the falls, the weather has dried and meant I could get the camera out...

Waterfalls are pretty difficult to photograph in an interesting way. 2 isn’t working for me but I suspect 1 would be quite nice with autumn colours, fallen leaves and a crop to remove the bright sky. A quicker shutter speed to have some sense of speed would probably be beneficial too, no more than 1 second is usually best
