So the Nikon D300 and the D3 will be out very soon, who is going out to buy either the D300 or the D3 ?

D300 might be on my shopping list ! As the D3 is way out of my price range...:crying:

D300 with 17-55 2.8 on order with Jacobs.

I was considering the D3 but it's a helluva lotta money, and the majority of my DX lenses will be rendered useless with it too ....

Can't wait though - slap on the battery grip and hold on tight! I love the 5fps on my D200, but 8 will be something else :) :clap:

Edited to say: other than when using in DX sub 6MP format, but this won't be sufficient for my prints.
 
I'm 8th on the list at Kingsley for a D3+24-70.

Can't wait to get the call to say it's waiting for me in store.
