Hello, I currently have a canon eos 650 with a canon ef 35-105 lens. Notice there is no d after the 650 as I am still using a film camera. I'm having a baby soon so the main job of the new camera will be to document his/her life. I like the size and feel of the 1100d but have been finding it hard to find specs of different eos's. I need the camera to just do simple point and shoot, quite compact is eos terms, video with sound would be high up on the list, ideally HD and I also want live view on the screen. Has to be canon as my family between them have all the lenses I will ever need! Any advice would be helpful, budget is lower the better as baby is on the way. I'll be looking for the camera second hand to.
