These are great. Lovely colours and the depth of field is fantastic. Obviously the dog is beautiful as well obviously. No.1 is the best for me

Both taken with the 50mm, aperture priority. The first at f3.5 the second at f1.8

I know you're in the for pleasure section, but I reckon a small crop to the right of the pic (as we're looking at it) might improve it even more

I stuck it in here as I seem to be singularly lacking inspiration or opportunity for the moment so the only thing the 50mm is getting tested on is dogs (and mainly this one) so it gets a bit boring after a while
