Whilst at my usual spot at 3 Sisters taking my panning shots I was approached by a young lady who asked where on earth I got my set up from, (not really the camera more the platform) So I explained what was done for me and that it was fabricated by Darren and facilitated by Rob.
She explained to me that her mother an ex nurse used to love taking photographs and due to a medical condition and a botched operation to save her become paralysed from the neck down actually brought on what they were trying to avoid.
Fiona (the young lady who approached me) said her mum used to love taking photos of her family and scenes etc, and missed taking photos of her grand kids etc, but now due to her condition and requiring 24 hr care was unable to do so. Fiona also explained that her mum had a tiny bit of use in her arm/hand enough to apply a little bit of pressure, so I got thinking if it was possible to make her something similar but using something requiring the pressure of pressing a mouse button to take a shot.
I dont know what camera she has but Fiona was so impressed with this that you all provided for me she took some photographs and told her dad to have a look on here to see what had been made for me.
Anyone got any ideas or suggestions, this Fiona's dad joined earlier on he is on the welcome forum as BearedBob, by the sound of things Fiona's mum and dad were amazed at what could be done.
