Spent an hour or two on Oxford Island nature reserve on the shores of Lough Neagh, and its great to see the local wild birds back out and about so much after the nesting season.

I did get one bird though that I'm having a bit of trouble Id'ing, checkout numbers 1 and 2 and ID if possible please guys

I was thinking along those lines, but it looked a tad big for a wren. Maybe its just a fat one!

yes its a wren, sunning himself...they fluff themselves up when they do this...makes them look bigger.mark

Great set...............and yes, I think Nos 1 & 2 are a wren. Mind you, I have been known to be wrong (frequently)
