Tokina 11-16mm - Nikon f2.8

I'm after a ultra wide and have spent the last odd week researching. Can someone who has used the Tokina 11-16mm on a cropped body let me know how they have got on with it.

I haven't used this particular lens but I have had a couple of Tokinas, recently a 16-50mm f/2.8 which IMO was as good as the Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 at 1/2 the price, i've also had a tokina 80-200mm f/2.8 which was as good as the nikon, tokina are overlooked as a brand but their optics are excellent IMO

Not used the 11-16mm however can highly recommend the 12-24mm by Tokina.

I have used the tokina 11-16mm lens with a D300 and it is fantastic
