Tokina International Warranty Given?

Hi,

Cant wait for search function to be back!

I am considering buying a Tokina lens from One Stop Digital and it is about £120 cheaper than buying from the UK.

Does anyone know if Tokina offer international warranty on their lenses or do they dislike "grey imports"?

I think Puddleduck said he got a lens serviced or replaced without problem. Other importers either won't warranty grey imports or require proof that Customs charges have been paid.

It's only "international" insofar as it's the same warranty worldwide, from what I remember, Tokina lenses needs to go back to the original market for warranty work. One way round it is to buy a Mack warranty for it, that way any repair work can be done in the UK.
