Captured her as she thundered her way towards Folkestone on Sat 15th May.
This was taken under what was VERY poor lighting conditions due to a thick grey cloud cover. I had to push my D40 to it's limits to try and get as much light into it (high ISO, low F1) using only the kit lens, while at the same time keeping the shutter speed as high as I could to prevent motion blur.
And even then I had to run the image through Lightroom (very rare for me to do that) to try and bring it out.
Still, as any train-related photography goes, I'm quite proud of this one (speaking as an armchair train spotter myself). At least it does what it says on the tin.
