Toyota Sprint Series 2008 Round 1: MOD Waterbeach

Yesterday I braved the wet and the wind to take photos of this event. Been sorting out some of the photos, and here is a purely random selection.

All with 40D and Sigma 100-300 f4. ISO 400 or 500 as it was pretty gloomy. My Talk Photography sourced waterproof cover did sterling service, I just need a better pair of gloves and a hat.

where is waterbeach?

Waterbeach is an army barracks about 4 miles to the North east of Cambridge on the Ely road.

It used to be an RAF base, but the Army have it now. The sprint was a coned section down the old runway before joining part of the perimeter track.

Weather was 4.something degrees C, with about 18mph winds.
