Tractor in the Snow

I have two different versions of a similar picture of a tractor I found whilst walking the dog:

I feel they are a bit dark :/

C&C would be greatly appreciated

#2 for me Amy, the first is spoiled by the out of focus green clump on the right

Hi Amy,

If I'm honest neither do a lot for me. I don't think their too dark, #1 is spoilt by the holly in the FG but #2 is a holly shot with something blurry in the BG. I think the shots are aimed more on the holly than the Tractor.

Dont do much for me either, dont think you have shown enough of the tractor in the second.

Another vote for them not doing too much for me I'm afraid. There's no real subject matter for either of them. Perhaps try not blurring either item, but a softer focus say on the holly to frame the tractor or something?

The second one is OK but unfortunately you cannot tell what the blurred subject is.
