All over the country there are ancient vehicule rights of way through and over all types of terrain, greenlaners basicly excersise their right to use the lanes by opening up old routes and using existing known ones, you can use 4x4's moto-x bikes, quads or pretty much anything that has less chance of getting stuck.
It has become very contraversial over recent years with nature groups and ramblers saying they are ruining nature sites and threatening the safety of others.
