I’ve travelled quite a bit over the years. When I look photos my friends who were exposed to them always asked the same question:
“Where was that taken?”
“Inside my head” would be my less than straight answer.
Soon enough they got the picture. What they saw was more to do with what I felt and thought at the time: the personal,experience.
My wife understood. She too would talk of the experience and less of the place or thing.
