treated myself to a new camera

i've wanted one for ages, and bought myself a special treat

a Pentax K1000 - the film camera not digital

it's absolutely fantastic

i had one years ago, and silly me sold it and was immediately sorry to have done so

so i have been busy doing film shots on Canon A1, Olympus OM10, and Pentax K1000

Nice I've got an old Pentax film slr here somewhere. Its so odd to hold it and go "Oh yeah, you have to move this thing to wind the film on." I really quite miss doing that.

it's great - i used to shoot gigs on the OM10 with a power winder

it felt a bit strange after such a long time working in digital - but i was used to it in a few minutes
