Tree. In a field.

Nothing much to post at the moment, so in an empty moment this. A lovely spreading oak near Matching Green in Essex. The tree is in the centre of the frame, there is no foreground interest, and the sky is, well....blue.

But I find it modestly pleasing, probably for the freshness of the early autumn colours. Definitely one for future reference though...

I think if you'd been a bit more adventurous with your composition this could really have worked, I'd have gone tighter and lower. Definatley a location worth a revisit when the sky is a little better.

As do I. Tighter, probably, lower, definitely! Another time. Essex has been in drought for the past few weeks, bringing a very early autumn, but the monsoon started today.
