I strayed a long way off the footpath to take a picture of this tree standing all alone, if i have a polarizing filter i would have used one.

I kinda like the shot but what is putting me off personally is the sun flare blobs , maybe you can clone them out for a better shot

What do you think the Polariser would have done Paul???

It's a good silhouette effort, but there's way too much black foreground IMO - needs a heavy crop there

I don't mind the flare 'blobs' myself
