Triopo tripods, anybody any experience with em?

I'd buy a known brand, or as above, red snapper! Looks a little dodgy I think

redsnapper all the way buddy, i have the tri-283 with the ball head and it holds my gripped 400d with sigma 150-500mm no probs at all, the lens itself weighs 1.9kg so i have to agree with the above id go for redsnapper...

I think you have to think what you will be using it for.
I use mine out doors a lot in mud Water grit so I have got a Uni-Loc as the leg are the other way around.
The legs do not go up inside so you do not get any water or grit inside of the legs also a fast turn of the knob locks the legs what can all move independently and the centre column can be turned to go up out to the side and downwards so you can get your camera in any direction.
Thank what you want from it
