Hi all,
I'm new to slrs and pritty much photography to so ANY advise on anything to do with photography would be great !But to the question in hand, I'm thinking of buying a tripod as i would like to try the different effects of long shutter speeds and waterfalls/running water etc , maybe macro type photos in the future to and was wondering if u guys and gals would point me in the right direction of a mid-range tripod and head.
ive got a nikon d40 with the 18-55mm lens that came with the kit and have ordered the 55-200mm nikkor lens for the close up stuff if any of this is relevant. thanks alot in advance

Redsnapper seems to be the weapon of choice at the moment (do a search for it), so much so I'm fancying one meself (I think you get a discount being a TRL member! :) )

Oh, and welcome to the forum!! :D

Redsnapper tripods and heads are very good value for money.
