Tripod for travelling - Manfrotto?

Hi All,

My old Velbon tripod has finally given up on me so I need a replacement.

I have been looking at the Manfrotto MKC3-H01 LINK, mainly because it is lightweight and quite compact which is what I need for traveling. I do however want one that will last and is solidly built.

Has anyone had any experience with this tripod?

I will be using it with my 7D, along with a 15-85mm lens (or 10-20mm lens).

I'm open to other suggestions, but my budget would be £100 or under.

Did you have any luck with this? All the compact lightweight tripods I've looked at have been quite expensive.
 
i was interested in this tripod if you get it can you let me know if it is good.

Didn't notice this thread had received replies.

I did buy the Manfrotto tripod in the end, and I'm very happy.

The tripod head and attachment for the camera work great - very quick to remove your camera.

The only downside is using it when the legs are fully open, it isn't the most stable tripid, however that could be due to the weight of my camera (Canon 7D with 15-85mm lens).

For the small size and price though I'd recommend it.
