hello all

Im after a tripod for my 450d but im not really sure what to be looking for i dont want to spend loads of money on one around £100 or less will be great.
I am after something that has a good build quality and wont fall apart after a few times of using it

i dont want a massive tripod that i have to lug around on my shoulders any advice would be most helpful thanks jay

Check out the Redsnapper tripods, lots of very happy users of them on the forum, myself included. Great build quality and really nice piece of kit. (y)

also a 4section version which will be a bit more compact if that helps.

Tommy.

Couldn't agree more, I got a cheap one when i started, which was ok for me, but my redsnapper arrived Monday and I've just started realising what I've been missing. For the price I think it's fantastic (£75).

Seems like a bargin ticks all the right boxes and under my £100 thanks guys

Manfrotto 190 pro is strong and should be withing your budget (although is bit heavy IMO)

I lnow it's a bit over budget, but if you want to save a bit on weight, then carbon fibre is lighter than aluminium. Redsnapper do them in both. Never used either but they get very good reviews on this forum :)
