Always difficult when on family holidays to take 'proper' photos but tried to get a bit of time out to show some of the Caribbean style to the sunset/after sunsets that were short lived but quite stunning.

Hope you think they are a reasonable attempt at capturing the scene?

I think on pic1 you have far too much 'dead space' where the beach has no detail.

As you have " Edit my images Yes" and a picture is supposedly worth a thousand words I took the liberty of cropping the pic and lightening a few shadows.

I think it improves it but it's what you think that matters.

Holiday pics are of course evocative to the photographer/holidaymaker, we looking on here do not have that 'connection' to the time & place that you have.

Pic2 is a nice scene but I would try and lighten a few shadows in the foreground and in the tree detail.

Always possible you will introduce noise when recovering shadow detail, 'no such thing as a free lunch' as they say.

Just my thoughts and I don't pretend to be any sort of expert.

Cheers.
