Trying something different with landscapes

Hey all, a couple from the weekend, trying different processing on photos to give them a 'different' look, any comments welcome

I really like the first one its got a moody look to it, not keen on the second looks a bit flat imo

My personal opinion is that they look a little bland. I would like to see them in their original colour.

Yeah the more i look at it, the more I see what your saying, i was going for an 'old photo' colour tone, ah well, better luck next time

I think both need to be about half an f/stop brighter...but I appreciate your efforts to venture beyond the normal.
