Thanks for the feedback, i have used cs4 for last few years and already LR appears to be very quick at managing the same thing better

I am heading to my mates tomorrow to shoot his 6 day old daughter Kaelyn, i just hope if i go down this route im doing the right thing. Its always easy to love your own firsts but what does joe public think?

Cheers for the feedback on this i do appreciate it...

She was wearing a christening gown passed down over the generations so i felt this style was appropriate especially for the grand parents

Based on the context of the shot does this work?

Lovely shot, and I do like the colouring, just not a huge fan of the vignette, I'm afraid

I wouldn't like that vignette myself unless it is the context you seem to be looking for, you can visualize that christening gown on a family member pre WW1 looking at this edit, I'm sure they will like it.
Saying that i would keep hold of the RAW (or original) incase they want something else

I have to say I pretty much agree with the above. The shot itself is a belter. Great expression in the childs face and the eyes are fantastic. I don't feel though the shot has been done justice with the colouring and of course the vignetting.
