I'm new to photography, trying to get a new tripod for my Fuji S650f0d. I don't know much about tripods, but I like ones that comes with ball joint support so you can move around the camera. Anyway I've found these

Velbon CX440 Tripod @ Jessops its £25, so I'm inclined towards this right now.

I don't want to spend too much money, so I need some suggestions which one is better or you can suggest any other tripod.

Thanks in advance.

I saw the Hama Star 72 in Asda (Aintree) at the weekend for £9.99 if that helps. I haven't a clue as to the quality though.

Thanks Chris. I need to go there anyway. Also need Energizer AA rechargeable currently they have offer on.

May pop to Asda, would quite fancy a cheap tripod, just for standard stuff.

I have the Hama Star 62.
It works perfectly as a tripod.
It is sturdy(ish), light(ish).

Everything works as you would expect, but the tripod is prone to wobbling, and it doesn't feel too safe with my sigma 70-300 on.
When I get my other lenses (the heavier 70-200 f/4) I'll be a lot less inclined to put them on there.
Just make sure you wear the neck strap (y)
