Trying to expand my horizons (no pun intend)

I'm rather out of my depth here,
I guess its mostly because I "can't see stuff" like a lot of you guys can.
But I've been trying new stuff, anyway, and bought a 10-22mm for the purpose.

All comments and pointers most welcome
I never "do" B&W either, so I threw a couple in for hell of it too.
Do they work?

Think the door needs a slight tweak of cw rotation and as you've clipped the step/kerb,I'd be tempted to crop it back a bit further
....the b&w version could do with a boost of contrast too imo

Liking the alleyway,(maybe a small ccw rotation) and I'm edging towards the b&w,just wondering if a crop to lose the first doorway and converting to portrait might enhance this further ?
Merely an opinion btw

The B&W alleyway is a nice shot. Little contrast boost would work well in my opinion.

I preferred the colour versions
Of the B&W edits that you've done.... I prefer the original street one...the second door one looks better for the straighten and crop...

Although I liked the colour version....I quite like this....it's a big improvement over the other two edits.
