Taken from inside an old windmill in Cramlington, Northumberland. I set up my camera to point straight up and used a 10 stop B&W filter to giv a 70 second exposure to capture the fast moving clouds. It was a pretty windy day so the clouds were shifting at a fair old rate which was perfect for this! I'm trying to shoot new views of places i've shot before at the moment and this was on the list!

I think this is a candidate for mono, at the moment it's not doing much for me, with mono the textures can really stand out.

The blue circle of sky reminds me of a planet.

I agree about it being suited to a mono conversion.

I took something very similar but with a castle tower and a doocot.

Haha that's what I was going to say! Nice shot, plenty of intrigue. I think I prefer the B/W version :)
 
It's interesting. I've looked at a for a while and think the black and white version edges it. A small point, at the moment the clouds are running roughly north to south. I think it would be marginally better if they ran 'west to east' in my view.

That centre circle looks to me like it's crying out for some text, it would make a great CD cover!
