Yes
Went to Blackpool on Saturday and stumbled upon a TVR meet.

Car porn at it's very best :D I love TVR's and the stunning colours they come in... now if only I could afford to buy one (but then I suppose I'd need the money to repair it too given their reliability  )

super stuff howard!

Some great captures of some beautiful cars there, looks like they were carrying out some time trials aswell.

Thanks for sharing(y)

They were demonstration runs along the 'prom' as opposed to time trials. I think a few passenger rides were up for auction.

One driver came very close to the concrete wall but there were no (vehicle) casualties when i was there. The race car pictured seemed to have massive problems getting any grip on its run. The Cerbera (red'ish car) was a speed 12, was absolutely amazing and appears to be road legal!

My car crazy boyfriend just drooled all over the place when I showed him these and got all excited about the speed 12  Apparently it's a one off car

Nice set there :)

Have to ask though - is that a flock of birds or sensor dust bunnies in the first one :)

Thanks for all the comments. I was very pleased with the shots i took. I do wish that #2 had turned out a little better.

If you had seen the car and heard it, youd understand! ;)

You lucky chap being with these lovely cars, you've got some great shots. TFS

I'll let you know this time next year! I've now put TVR on my list of possible next cars. Looks like they have their (major) manufacturing issues sorted and they do look and sound the business! I need a few test drives and proper discussions with owners though.

I think its birds. Shot all the photos with the same lens on the camera, so would expect all the pics to show the 'spots'. I will have a proper look tonight and give everything a good clean though.

I have always had a soft spot for TVRs and thought that one day I would own one. After a season of track days driving a Lotus that can be driven hard for 6+hours a day and only having to come off track while they recover broken down TVRs I don't think I will ever make that leap. :nono:

Still very nice to look at, and following a drifting TVR through Shell corner at Oulton Park is a joy to recollect. :woot:
