Two HOYA UV filters - which is the better

I've discovered I have two HOYA UV filters which I could fit on my 24-105 F4ISL lens.

One is labelled around the side:

HOYA 77mm UV
the other
HOYA Pro1 Digital 77mm mc UV(O) made in Japan.

Which is the better one? Or is there nothing in it?

as there only UV filters i cant see there been much difference between the two

HOYA 77mm UV (green box?) is noncoated dinosaur if that is the full description. Under certain conditions it could seriously harm the IQ. At an angle it will look like any normal glass or even like a mirror.
The other one should be pretty OK, presuming it is actually made in Japan. It should have only very faint and coloured reflections.

Spot on - the Digital one does nt reflect as much and the light above me has a slight colour cast to it - the normal UV one is just reflecting normally.
