I have a new 55-200 Tamron lens, which I bought a month ago, but have yet to use it, and have just upgraded my body and the new 40D came with a Sigma 18-200.
Neither of these lenses are OS or IS or whatever.
Which is the better of the two? Which should I keep?
Sigma 3.5-5.6 Tamron 4-5.6

Its horses for courses really, though the F numbers look different in reality they are the same as the sigma will be on F4 when zoomed to 55mm.
You already have an 18-135IS so the short to middle end of things is covered, its just the long end.
I think in your shoes and wanting to cover the long end I would sell both lenses and either get a canon 55-250IS or 70-300IS

Will a Canon 55-250 lens be a much better lens than the Sigma then?

yes should be much better, has "IS" and is a very highly thought of lens for the price you pay.

Thanks guys.
I guess it is to ebay I go...

or PM Kerso on here (Forum Advertiser) he normally does good prices on them, or keep an eye on the For Sale forum.

I will PM Kerso, but I need to sell the other two first!
Cheers
