I agree with the comments about the eyes - all caught really well! What lens were you using? Very impressive set!

They were all taken with a Canon 20D and Canon 100-400mm L IS lens, except for 2 and 4, which were with a Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro. looking at the exif for 2 and 4 reminded me that they were taken at ISO 1600 (both were indoors), and have not been thru any noise reduction program. Also, with the exception of the prarie dog, they were all taken thru either glass or fencing/caging.

I'd go with the Orangs as my pick but maybe with the saturation down just a touch.
That last spectacled wotsit one looks very bright at first but it works well.
