CC welcome

Good compositions, though for me the tonemapping has made them far too saturated. However, have you thought of converting them to B&W from this stage. I know that sounds silly, with the glorious sunset, but I think it would work because of the tonal range. If they stay colour, they do need a lighter hand on the saturation/dramatic colour slider though

Just to give a different perspective...

The photos are great compositions, and lovely light.

If I had one hung on my wall, I would want the saturated colours to remain. I like colour, and I like the drama it brings.

i should point out at this stage that i cheated a little with the sky.... its a sky from a different image... i just pasted in the background as the original pictures sky was a bit boring..

thanks for the comments i will have a go at desaturating the image... keep em coming

Right enough, the sky is identical in both images, ofcourse I noticed that before you said;)

I like them both.

great, I love the proiory up there buts its many years since Ive been.

Number 2 for me, like the shot of the keep, its such a wonderful feature.
