Hi!

First post showing some photos, hope you send me your most brutal critique
Nah seriously, I need some honest feedback in order to improve.

Both are from small streets, I don't know why but I kind of like this type of shoots.

I like them both.

1st one maybe could have been slightly more central, placing the boat right in the middle at the end of the street.

2nd could have been slightly lower to have the full curve of the pavement at the bottom to finish it off.

But I still like them really nice, simple shots!

Good point about the 2nd one. I've seen lately many photos shoot almost at street level, and mine has too much sky.

In the second image, a crop on the LH side, with a crop off the top, thus maintaining the crop ratio might tighten and centralise the view somewhat. The detail on the extreme LH side does need to disappear IMO as the off-white corner detail of the building is distracting.

I really like the first image the double yellows lead in nicely but as said maybe a little more central and perhaps a little less sky as it's rather washed out... Also the second one would probably work well at night time.

1st one is the better shot- love the lead in lin created by those dreaded double yellows

No2 not so keen as the sky or lack of sky detail, lets it down a tad
