Ultralightweight Ballhead.

I am trying to find an ultra light weight ballhead for a tripod that can hold 1.5-2kg of camera, Budget is limited, but am open to paying more for a really good quality yet very light product.

Any suggestions?

I haven't looked for a while, but Velbon used to make some remarkably light ball heads. I still have one on my monopod.

The Rednapper RSH-61 is 268g, rated to hold 5kg and costs £24.95. It's also very well made. I use one on a Gitzo 1542T and I've had a 1DMkIII with a 70-200L 2.8 IS MkII on it no problem. It's very good quality and I believe Redsnapper give a discount to members here.

Not sure which head Giottos fit to their Vitruvian CF 'pod but it's a lot lighter than any of the Manfrotto ones I have!
