A bit of a surprise earlier today as a cock Pheasant appeared in my garden to hoover up fallen seed under the feeders...



The poor Dunnocks didn't get a look in!

Beautiful colours on the Pheas, Russ...I have surrounded my feeders with 22 paving stones to make it easier to keep clean, wish I had a Pheasant clean up crew

Shame he wasn't on your side of the feeder pole! Loving the colours of the birds around at the moment - guessing they've all recently moulted so are looking good for the laydeez!
