Underwater Camera Cases

Good evening,

I'm hoping that I can pick your collective brains about how best to use cameras underwater.

The camera is a Sony RX100 II and I will be going on a dive holiday in Malta in September so I am hoping to make use of it.

Are there any particular cases that are better rated than others? We won't be diving deeper than 18M.

Do you need to use any filters to ensure correct or get desired colours?

Underwater cases need to be matched to specific cameras. Shoot raw and remember to take lighting as well. Close is good underwater. It's like losing 2 stops of light through a blue filter for 5 meters in any direction. A Ewan marine bag is a viable alternative to a hard case.

Above all remember diving first. You need good buoyancy control and keep an eye on your dive as your priority.

The wet pixel forums are a great source of advice
