Underwater Camera mask??

I know I know, it's going to be the best thing since the box brownie, but has anyone ever used one and what are your thoughts?
Only needed to capture the wife in the water as she never gets wet, but this year i'm on a promise :nuts:

I can't imagine it being very good as a camera or very comfortable as a mask but maybe I'm wrong. Why not get one of the panasonic, olympus etc cameras that are waterproof to 10m or so or a second hand older compact and housing?
