With something like an old zenit, would it be possible to use bathroom sealant on film door and lens mount and then use it under water, I presume that as long as the film stayed fairly dry and the lens didn't turn into a fish bowl it could work. :thinking:
 
Too many places for water to get in I feel - I have a couple of underwater cameras, basic 35mm point and shoot, film loaded already, in clear plastic cases. Only guaranteed to be waterproof for the first film - after that you take your chances :LOL:
 
I guess it depends how far under you want to take it. Water pressure will force its way in at weak points.
 
With traditional soviet tolerances built into most of their old designs, i think it will instantly fill with water.
