Upgrade recomendations

Ok Guys i will shortly have a budget of £600.00 and am looking to upgrade from my 1d mk2 to something newer what do you recomend?

What do you take photo's off? What is your current camera lacking? I used to think fullframe was the pinnacle. Now I am looking forward to the 7dii.

If you could get a bit more cash together maybe a 5dii as a general all around great camera. It's not far off your budget. If not the obvious choices are either a 5d or a 7d. Both will leave change in your pocket. Personally I'd rather have a 7d thana 5d but to me image quality isn't the worlds most important thing - I like taking videos as well.

My current camera isn`t lacking it`s just the cash has become available to get an upgrade, and it`s not getting any younger, photo wise i take portrait mainly, and the budget won`t be any bigger than £600.00 also video isn`t a priority.

1D mkIII or 1Ds II would be a pretty sensible upgrade within that budget.

I like the 60d but may consider a second hand higher spec model but am open to suggestions
