Edit My Images
No
Hi all,
I'm running aperture 3 on my macbook pro and was wondering if you can upload photo's to your business page on FB??
I know you can upload them to your personal site, but i've set a page up (same log in as my personal) www.facebook.com/a1magic but i'l like to be able to edit them, then upload, without dragging them to another file, to then upload via FB.

I was just wondering if its possible at all?

No idea to be honest, don`t have a mac nor do I use faecesbook.

but you got at least one reply.......:)

Have you tried uploading them?

Thats what i'm trying todo! But you have to log into your business page on FB then upload them, rather than hit the FB button in aperture or iPhoto. When you hit that button, it uploads them to my personal page, and not my fan page.

Thats the problem mate, its all under the same account! The page is created by me! Its like having a group, and adding images JUST to that group! There is no other log in, its the same.

If that makes sense.......

Oh, I see, probably should of read your first post properly.
:)

Maybe the only solution would be to create a separate page/account.

I think it's an error on FB's behalf. I've read somewhere.

I didn't want to create a separate log in, as it would be too much hassle checking it on my phone, also, if I had 2 FB accounts, I'd only get notifications for one of them on my phone...

I can upload the images, I just have to drop them onto the desktop and upload from there, it's just a pain!

Cheers for looking tho.

I'm sure someone else will have the same
Problem.

It might make a difference depending on whether you're logged in as you personally or as your page. I know it affects my blog posts getting posted to FB, I need to be logged in to the correct one, or it won't post on my wall.

You can "swap" you user to the page under the accounts menu, I think that's what they mean.

Top right click accounts (in FB) then pick "use facebook as page."

Thanks, I am aware of this, and this is how I use Facebook, but this doesn't help to uploading pictures through aperture or iphoto....

I'm basically able to upload photo's via aperture, but they go on my personal page, and not on my business page.

I know the login info is the same, but your either logged in as you or as your page. So you're actually logged in as your page, whilst exporting from Aperture, and still no luck?

You can't log in under your page in aperture. So if I "swap" pages (on FB) and upload the images, they still go to my personal page as this is what I'm logged in under aperture.

The only way I've found to get a new folder setup on my page is to export the files to the desk top, then use FB uploader from my page to upload the files.

Does that make sense? Anyone got a page to try what I mean..

Are there third party export plug ins available for Aperture, like with Lightroom? As there are usually more features in the third party plug ins.
