A shield of high cloud lit by the moon slid away giving an unusual 3D 'edge of infinity' feel late yesterday.

There have been some great noctilucent clouds recently. I've not been inclined to get out in the cold though apart from walking the dog, so well done for that, as well as a nice image.

I suppose noctilucent essentially means clouds lit at night, but I would only use the term for this type only seen around longest day when it doesn't really get dark.
